Kick-off – review purpose and
scope of assessment; identify
interviewees; establish interview
schedule and obtain baseline materials
(such as: quality metrics, quality
assurance policies and practices, former
quality improvement initiative
documentation, access to defect
depository)
Interviews – conduct
interviews with individuals selected
from the following: IT leadership team,
owners of key IT processes, deliverables
and metrics and, as needed, members of
the business community
Analysis – analyze review
notes and materials; prepare assessment
findings and recommendations
Readout – present detailed
recommendations
