TRS
Group
has broad experience across multiple
industries when it comes to
understanding your business processes
and systems. As companies grow and
mature, executives must decide if they
should continue to invest in the
company’s business systems
infrastructure as a prerequisite for
building a platform for the future.
TRS Group can assist your company to evaluate
your existing business processes. Our
analysis will determine which processes
and systems may be potential candidates
to replace your business's old,
non-integrated information systems that
you have outgrown. While these systems
may have served your company well
through a period of growth and
expansion, they now represent an
unacceptable risk to continued
operational effectiveness, and
potentially are not in compliance with
Sarbanes-Oxley,
HIPPA, and other
regulatory requirements.
Implementing new technologies,
applications and systems is more than
just updating your legacy systems. TRS
can help identify and drive common
business processes across your business,
simplifying operations, establishing
best practices, and regulatory controls.
Our
Comprehensive Delivery Framework (CDF)
TM, a structured methodology,
can help your organization develop a
solid foundation that will allow your
organization to identify business
processes which can benefit from new
technologies, applications and solutions
designed to improve your core
operations, and enable your company to
focus on its key business drivers and
building market share.
Let us share with you how TRS can help.
Assessment and Planning
TRS will work your team to establish a
clear understanding of business process
requirements across the business and
what current technologies are used to
support these processes. Simple,
pragmatic design solutions will be
developed to help your team understand
the business benefit that integrated
technologies and solutions that can
improve your business processes. TRS
will develop a conceptual design that
clearly identifies the scope of the
solution, key design features and
project costs.
Business Design and Prototype
Once the conception design has been
approved, a prototype system is
developed to prove the conceptual
design, defining the detail, scope and
requirements, and obtain "buy-in" from
the business process owners. In areas
where well-developed, stand-alone legacy
systems were being replaced, the
prototype will insure that there will be
no overall loss in functionality. The
prototype will also clearly articulate
the benefits of running an integrated
system and access to real-time
management information.
Delivery and Implementation
After the business process owners have
approved the design and prototype, the
next phase of developing, testing, data
conversion and systems integration
begin. At this point, a new phase begins
and the project team will be increased
to meet this challenge. TRS will assist
you in identifying the scope,
requirements, milestones and
deliverables for this phase to ensure a
successful integration. During this
phase TRS will identify the following:
- System configuration of software
applications and hardware
- Remote and on-site development
enhancements and interfaces
- System test criteria
- User acceptance test criteria
- Creation of business process
descriptions and on-line help tools
(web-enabled)
- Development and delivery of
training material
- Training and education in the
use of new applications and
processes
- Conversion of legacy system data
and data cleansing
- Identify criteria for "go-live"
for new business processes and
applications
